    ... the boats, not even acknowledging the people swimming around them. I am still marvelled that I even had the opportunity to go and experience that. It was definitely worth every peso (1,100PHP per person).

    Now we finish off our last night by eating at our favourite place -- Maya's Native Garden Restaurant.

    ... volunteers surrounded by thousands of tins of food and an army's worth of rice. We dived into one of the packing lines and set to work filling the family bags: 5 tins of sardines, 5 tins of corned beef, 8 sachets of instant coffee (which I felt seemed like an odd choice for emergency food) and two kilos of rice.
