Caught the bus to Moalboal at 10:30am for 107 peso and it took 3 hours, but unfortunately arrived to cloud and rain. The town of Moalboal on the main road is 4˝km away from Panagsama which is the main resort area for accommodation and diving centres (Pescador Island is the main draw). Am staying at Moalboal Backpacker Lodge across from the 'beach' which is only 275 peso for the dorm. Whilst travelling down on the bus i was musing on how i ...

The view along the drive way to Oslob was fabulous. Literally just the sky and the sea. Deep blue water. So calming. I can stim on that all day. (nb. stim means looking at it)

Arrived in Oslob 2 hours later. Got ourselves into swimsuits and got the snorkels and the camera ready. Horray!!! the sun came out!!

Lucky.

Went over to listen to the precautions and rules. Then on the boat ...

Deep Sea Diver

A travel blog entry by alanhopkins on Apr 01, 2012

Neither of us got a proper sleep before the alarm went off at 4am. My body was in that mode of sleep you get sometimes when you have something on your mind and you know you have to be up early for it. I don't wanna use the N word (nervous) again in reference to diving because I was ok, Charlotte was less ok with it. I'm not excited but I'm trying to put it to the back of my mind, we have worried about too much stuff over the past 6 months and it's always ...
