Not the wildest Wadi in the world!

EVERYONE recomended the Wild Wadi Waterpark so we toddled along for the day (well the afternoon due to blood boiling consequences of going outside in the midday sun!). We braved the metro but didn't realise that it is over a 2k walk from the station to the waterpark so we were roasting and shattered by the time we arrived.

It cost over £ …

Pleasantly warm?!

Everyone said that it would be hot, they were wrong, it is hotter than that. It is blister your eyes, sear your lungs, melt your face hot. All of these sensations are endured whilst every inch of your skin slowly boils in your own sweat. It is oh so icky sticky hot. We braved the pool at 10am and I got burnt in the time that it takes to remove your …

I realise we have been a bit rubbish about keeping people up to date about what we've been doing, so I thought I would try a travel blog. So if you are interested in what we've been up to read on, if not look away now. First stop is Dubai. The main aim of this visit is to catch up with my good friend Helen Boland, who deserted me when I worked at the Wirral and prompted me to plan this trip! We had a tour of the sights; ...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The only slight downside is that we didn't realise how far it was from downtown Dubai (thats not the hotels fault and the Metro is easy to navigate!). Service was brilliant and the room was large and clean with everything we needed in it. No complaints at all, great value for money.
