Clean, friendly staff and great rooms

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The only slight downside is that we didn't realise how far it was from downtown Dubai (thats not the hotels fault and the Metro is easy to navigate!). Service was brilliant and the room was large and clean with everything we needed in it. No complaints at all, great value for money.

Part 1 - Paris We jumped into our taxi at 7am, bleary eyed but all good. It was a good idea to prebook the taxi on Saturday as the train strike is still ongoing which not only makes it hard to get a taxi as they are so busy but the traffic was gridlocked, even this early. Lucky this was traffic heading into Paris, the trip to the airport was pretty …

... morning we used the gym for another hour training session and swim/jacuzzi, packed our bags, went for lunch then got the metro to the airport. We met a drunk guy who had missed his flight by 3 hours and wanted help with what to do, we took him to ticketing and they said he needed to pay money to rearrange the flight. Having about a tenner on him and no credit card he bought a phone card to scavenge some money off his mum and we left him to it. No delays this time and the 8 ...

Sunday 17 Aug 14 - Arrived Dubai at 1:15pm and very quickly through immigrations and customs although the "Smart Terminal" set up for fast processing fell in a heap. We were directed to the "fast lane" to electronically scan our passports and ended up fronting a customs officer who stamped out passpors, as usual. Bureaucracy never changes !!

... hard as my mum freaked out next to me. My stomach hurt from all the laughing and I almost had a tear in my eye. She was so scared and I was having the ride of my life. After the dune bashing ride we made our way to a camp where we would stay for tea. It was good because it wasn't as hot as it had been and we could sit in comfort. As this camp we could get Hanna art on our hands for free which is a design drawn on the skin and it stays there for ...

... concerned then us. The rest of the meal apologies came left right and centre, a free desert platter was given and the Food & Beverage manager for the hotel also insisted we accompany him to the Siddharta Bar for a cocktail. Along the way he gave us a tour of a few of the establishments on the property - all of them very WOW!

The Siddharta bar was a rooftop bar on the other tower and we were given the choice to sit anywhere ...
