Taxi to the Sheraton Mall of the Emirates and an upgrade from Deluxe to Classic Room (better view of the dust storm outside !) because our room was not ready. Who are we to argue !!?? ... Barcelona. A lovely lady said she would bring Em up during the flight hasn’t happened yet so we will see what happens.

No Em yet and there's 2hours to go on the flight. Just waiting for my lunch. The time is about 11am. I arrive in Barcelona after 1pm. Feeling a bit tired but I don't think I should sleep so I can get a good sleep tonight.

Pretty cool getting internet on the plane. I've just spoken to Dave and sent mum a couple of messages.

We we have now reached Paris and of course more sites to see and more shops to ...

... Europe is sure to be an adventure - these kind of experiences are why I came travelling, even if I was going to have to do it on my own.

On the flight, I mostly slept, but also spoke a little with a Moroccan lady next to me. Soon enough, I was arriving in Istanbul. I got a visa without any issues at all and then took my place in the long queue at passport control. When I finally got to the desk, the guy told me my beard made me look like Forest Gump and ...
