... mä Sofitel on ihan huippu. Mutta matka ei ole pitkä; uusi hotelli näkyy parvekkeeltamme. Hotelli on myös rannassa, mutta niin, että sillä on myös oma hiekkaranta mm. Tilaamme piccolon hakemaan matkalaukut (tähän alkaa jo oppia ja tottua, miltähän imuri kotona vaikuttaa...). Meidät hyvästellään ja tarkistetaan, että onhan kaikki sujunut hyvin. Nepalilainen taksikuski vie meidät seuraavaan hotelliin selvästi ihmetellen, että miksi siirryymme huippuhotellista toiseen.

Later that day we woke up and headed out to explore the city. We visited the nearby Dubai Mall, one of the huge shopping centres Dubai is renowned for. And it is huge – the information booklet for the place is more like the yellow pages, with around 20 pages needed to list all the shops in the place. ... of children in the area not sure if this is going to end well, our seats are near the front of the plane where traditional they put the mum and children. We are called and board the plane and yes we have 1boy 3ish and a girl 2ish a mum and grandmother this will be fun.
We get settled and the boy is jumping in the seat and peering over the back of the seat looking at us and mum is saying please sit down and be quiet, please sit down and be quiet, ...
Heat and fasting
... room so the problem could be rectified. Our bags were eventually collected and we were ushered to a suite overlooking the carpark. A suite which with a sitting room! The floor wasn’t water-logged and all we hoped for was a working air-conditioner – the temps outside are 33-43 degrees and it’s not cool inside either!
