DeFuniak Spring - A Day Of Rest
... with 'good' homemade food; and then for a self-guided 'bike tour' around Lake DeFuniak which is only about a mile in circumference, about sixty feet deep and is said to one of only two naturally round lakes in the world. The mineral waters of the lake are suppose to be healing. I know I feel better but it could be the glass of wine we had with dinner last night, the first since we left home.

... on Wednesday to avoid Thanksgiving traffic. Our timing couldn't have played out better by ending up here. There is something so transcendent and enchanting when surrounded by an historic refurbished hotel. Not to mention, the hotel has a restaurant attached, and the bonus is how absolutely wonderful the food was,... we so missed 'grilled' fish, al dente vegetables, beautiful salads and fine desserts.
