... lot. It had a nice view of the beach and the price was right. The weather was in the 20`s and sunny. Watched some precociously athletic young girls in a gymnastics competition at the conference centre next door. They were spectacular. I can see why the U.S. does so well in the Olympics.

We are ten days into our 2015 North American adventure having left home on January 10th, driving through treacherous road conditions in New Brunswick, complete with a vehicle spinning out of control in front of us. We hope to make it to Las Cruces by Wednesday afternoon to pick up my new camera at a UPS store. We plan stop in Baton Rouge Trader Joes, to restock some essential supplies.

We will spend Thanksgiving and a week in southern New Mexico, where we will join several ...

After a grueling five days of driving, it was time to find a nice campground and hang out for a few days. My plan was to stay at the state park on the beach near Destin. But the polar vortex spoiled things, so I found an RV park near Pensacola instead. The temperatures were in the 30's at night, and although it was only in the 50's during the day, at least it was sunny! I enjoyed a walk on the beautiful beach and a couple fantastic sunsets over the ...
