... Looking for company and no one to give it. I ended up watching a soccer game with a guy that did not speak English. That was fun! After, I watched a movie on my I-TOUCH and went to bed.

Next day, I took an interesting bus ride back to the subway station (through a very rough area) and headed back to the bus station. A 4 hour ride later and I made it to NATAL……….

... It´s located right on the coast and surrounded by golden beaches (albeit shark infested!) and greenery which is surprising given the location. ... I have become Brazilian now because I got lucky on the beach, little do they know how innocent it was, but I laugh and smile along and just play coy. I didn´t notice but apparently all the girls were hanging off him wanting to be with him that night and instead he chose to walk with me. He is quite a nice looking man, like a lot of the people here a bit of a mixture, of african, native brazilian and portuguese. His skin is white(ish) but you can see defining features ...

Beautiful Olinda (oh Linda) We´re here. I burst into tears on landing in Rio I was just so happy. The trip was long. We had some problems with the baggage handlers, somewhere between Australia and Rio, and my video camera and some of Jasmine´s medicine was stolen - but in the scheme of things we have insurance and if there is going to be any trouble, that´s the best kind - far away and minimum impact. ... at the orphanage and having my home stay, i stayed away from the horrible ppl at the program...and i was able to make the most of my time there!
