Of the many things we discussed in preparation for our journey, our instructor informed us that we were not allowed to sleep until it is actually bedtime in Italy. There seems to be a vast amount of wagons on the road today, I would estimate that two thirds of all the tragic was HGV's. Because of the time we spent wandering around shops we only got as far as Bologna before finding an overnight stop. There is still lots if snow in the parking place, ...

... piles of snow and ice, something he has not experienced before. Traci took the opportunity to enjoy the peace and quiet and try and catch up on her novel.

For dinner we found a German restaurant serving traditional German food and beer just up the road from the Hotel and we all had a really nice time. Tomorrow we hope to get away mid morning and spend the afternoon in Lake ...
