I went to the only church in Sant Antoni this morning and experienced the second Catholic service in my life, this time in Spanish. Although I understood only words and no real meaning yet, I am happy that I went and had the experience. It was good to be in a church during service, but I have to admit I was wildly distracted by a lot of things. ... the appreciation, the acceptance, the praise, I don’t ever want to leave or have to make the decision about if I find life elsewhere or come back and continue this life I am making. I want every day to be like yesterday and allow these people who have touched and filled my heart to continue to fill in all the crevices. What you will see:
~ I got my first paycheck! WOOT WOOT!
~ Multiple shots from my balcony. Sorry, it never gets old for me! As I tell my kids when I talk about clouds "Clouds are ever changing and when you look up to them, you're never quite sure what you will see!"
~ Cooking and baking make me happy. This time it was Cheesy Spinach ...
... I already know. So now... I will start with what my lovely new friends said would be the best place, as far as communication, to start and that is with Present simple (98% got that), Present Perfect (understand it now, need to practice using it more), and Preterite (have worked with it some but need to refresh and solidify it in my memory). I feel like I'm off to a good start ...
