... culminating with the 1492 expulsion of the Jews from Spain by those godly monarchs, Ferdinand and Isabella!

We walked the narrow cobblestone lanes, hemmed in by formidable ramparts. Human spirit was confined quite literally. We had intended to go out in the evening for tapas but the weight of travel and history (and our good lunch) depleted our resolve and we faded out early in Girona!

Hola, update: We've checked out a Spanish Flamenco dinner/ dance show w tapas & sangria, which was ok, nothing to rave about. But this is our last day in Lloret & we bailed on a yacht ride today, too cold, Chris under weather, they managed to watch the AFL game during the day & then we had big night at the Gran Casino! Well everyday commences w champagne breakfast and why not I say!! Very Lazy days, nice weather, nice walks on the boardwalk, reading, not much movement from sun lounge, the water is a bit chilly. Nice dinners at local restaurants, Local Casino picks u up and drops u back at your hotel! ...
