... to Phuket and the airport is an hour away from the dock (did I talk about this already? I think I did). Anyway, its' just to say that we will be getting into Chiang Mai at 8pm instead of 3pm. Cost of about 260$ for both of us to change our tickets, but whatever. Tomorrow is a new day, a diifferent place. We are leaving the island life behind to go to the northern part of Thailand. ... STUNNING. Even with quite a few people around, you can still take in the scenery... Swimming out and looking back at the beach, picturing it in the film. It really did look the same! In the film, the bay is digitally retouched so as to create a totally enclosed bay with no opening... Whereas here, in real life, there is a small opening through which you can easily enter and exit the bay. But obviously for the film... They wanted to create this small community completely cut ...

Running through the city with hundreds of other people and having people cheering you almost every step of the way, from bars and businesses along the way that stayed open just to support the runners.
