He honked and delivered a scowl while driving by. I just waved. New York is super beautiful, and it has noticeably wider bike lanes. The hostel in Kreuzlingen was also a good choice, but was a little too far away from restaurants and bars.

There were no bed bug incidents. One or two students had bites after we left Rome, but I suspect they ...

... the wood was so wet!) and enjoying a stroll at sunset on the beach of Lake Erie (again, some pretty impressive water!). We also met a sweet family from New Hampshire who thought we were absolutely nuts for attempting a trip such as this. All in all New York was wonderful. We got pretty wet, but still had a great time. Just goes to show what good company, good music, and a few trash bags can get you through!
