    ... for many hours they gave us our room early so we could shower and rest. Accommodation in Silicon Valley is expensive but this gesture made it worthwhile.     ... about 4-1/2 hours by the time we arrived back to our hotel. We then headed over to the wharf for one last time to have a beautiful seafood dinner. Can highly recommend the clam/crab chowder.     ... spot at a park near Bay and Hyde, a few blocks from Fisherman’s Wharf. We spent every minute of that two hours at the Wharf and Pier 39. The best part of this time was watching the sea lions soak up the sunshine behind Pier 39. I remember watching them as a kid. There weren’t nearly as many as there used to be though.
