      ... it was 101 feet deep. The best thing about the place is that we saw the sockeye salmon trying to make their way up the Fraser. I can’t explain how difficult this is when you see how strong the water is. They have fish ladders on both sides which appear to help a little bit but the salmon are getting hammered against the rock walls. Some of them have already turned pink but others are still black.       ... 8230; I did fall in love with them.

      I am so glad that I am here in Vancouver and have these mountains as my play land whenever I can get away – yes I will visit areas such as Victoria and perhaps even Seattle but for the most part, I would choose excursions into the mountains.

      Enjoy this post…I sure enjoyed my time at Hells Gate and the Rocky Mountains…

      Stayed one night at the Coquihalla RV Park at Hope, British Colombia, on the banks of the beautiful Fraser river. Visited Lake Kawkawa, also at Hope, the next morning on our way to Vancouver. Had to make a stop at Chilliwak to have our motorbike tyre repaired, keeps going flat.

      ... identify a steel pipe sticking out from the side of the RV that was scrapping against the barrier. We inched the RV away from the barrier.....a bit more to the left in future please Brett! Who puts a bloody exhaust pipe out the side of a vehicle anyway!!!
