We are on the road again. It feels really good too, just like going home. We left Lynne and Mike's around 9. Didn’t see Lynne as she had already gone to work but Mike was up as Piper, the dog , had jumped on him, scared of the wind or something similar, very early.

We headed out of Kamloops towards Savona and the view we knew quite well back towards Kamloops. We have travelled these roads a few times before and really enjoy the starkness of ...

... 8230; I did fall in love with them.

I am so glad that I am here in Vancouver and have these mountains as my play land whenever I can get away – yes I will visit areas such as Victoria and perhaps even Seattle but for the most part, I would choose excursions into the mountains.

Ciao for now…so much more to come.

... around Hope and were sorry to not have longer because we enjoyed the chainsaw art that decorated the streets, the historic church and the parks. The church is the longest continually operating church on BC’s mainland, built near the end of the Gold Rush. We also visited a small Japanese area in a Park and discovered that Hope has a significant Japanese link.

I had read that a local restaurant was good and the motel also recommended it. ...

We left Sintich RV Park early this morning and headed for Hope. We had another wonderful ride with very little trouble. We stopped at a rest area and had lunch. Made several stops to see some gift/craft shops and had to go through several tunnels. We were stopped at one tunnel for about 20 minutes. While we were there waiting for the construction crew to let us go through we met a couple ...
