    I think when one takes a trip like this it is understood that there may not be a return trip. It is far away, circumstances need to align just right, but strangely, here I was, again. Sitting at the Canadian border looking at the turn off toward Hope. As I drove into town I saw the dirt road turn off that led to the place we slept on the first night. It hadn't changed.     I am so glad that I am here in Vancouver and have these mountains as my play land whenever I can get away – yes I will visit areas such as Victoria and perhaps even Seattle but for the most part, I would choose excursions into the mountains.

    Enjoy this post…I sure enjoyed my time at Hells Gate and the Rocky Mountains…
