There were many stops today to capture some great scenery shots along the road and over the river. The trains go either side of the river. The road side has the Canadian National Line and the other side has Canadian Pacific trains. When we caught the train from Toronto to Vancouver we were on the CN line. I am so glad that I am here in Vancouver and have these mountains as my play land whenever I can get away – yes I will visit areas such as Victoria and perhaps even Seattle but for the most part, I would choose excursions into the mountains.

... around Hope and were sorry to not have longer because we enjoyed the chainsaw art that decorated the streets, the historic church and the parks. The church is the longest continually operating church on BC’s mainland, built near the end of the Gold Rush. We also visited a small Japanese area in a Park and discovered that Hope has a significant Japanese link.

I had read that a local restaurant was good and the motel also recommended it. ...

... got me. I haven't been able to sleep some nights knowing I haven't got any Michael Buble or Paul Anka or Neil Young. And of course, the most unforgivable of omissions...Justin Bieber. I don't know how they let us in the country without checking our Bieber knowledge. Not that we've seen much of him here...although I thought we passed his older, less successful brother the other day skateboarding down the road. Grown men do that here you know. So we arrive in Harrison just ...
