... the lots are moved to the buyers who themselves then move the fish to the next station.

We walk out of the building onto the whole fish market area. This is potentially a dangerous place as hundreds of trucks, carts, bicycles, bikes, and other vehicles drive through the various buildings.

We then queue for eating and early breakfast (it is only 06:30) at one of the famous market restaurants and order ...

Today, Friday, is about 10o cooler with a light drizzle, which is perfect weather for looking around bloody big museums. I decided to be brave and get on the train to head into a place called Ryogoku where there is the Edo-Tokyo museum which is based around exhibits which show the history of Tokyo. Coincidentally it is next door to the major sumo stadium and museum which I passed on. I've got nothing against big fellas in nappies but you gotta draw the line ...

... Finally got to my hotel at 11.45am only to find out check-in as at 3pm. Off i go to wander the streets in the blistering heat again!. I decided to go to Ueno Park and the National Museum there. Some very impressive pieces of art, some dating back 1500 years or more. And thankfully climate controlled!

Right off to find some dinner then bed, i'm shattered!
