        ... a song. A little grey haired old lady in a kimono couldn't stop dancing. In the break between sets, the basher came over and sat at my table for a chat. We talked about Melbourne, Dixieland jazz and the hospitality of the japanese.' Hobinashi' was the word he used to describe it. Very cool. Btw the old lady is 85 Had sushi on the way home.         Today, Friday, is about 10o cooler with a light drizzle, which is perfect weather for looking around bloody big museums. I decided to be brave and get on the train to head into a place called Ryogoku where there is the Edo-Tokyo museum which is based around exhibits which show the history of Tokyo. Coincidentally it is next door to the major sumo stadium and museum which I passed on. I've got nothing against big fellas in nappies but you gotta draw the line ...

        As we arrived into Tokyo, we performed a few train switches and battled Tokyo train and subway crowds (which is about as much fun as it sounds) and eventually arrived at Maihama station, which is at the doorway to Tokyo Disneyland.

        Ok so we finally get into narita airport in Tokyo, and we're 3 hours behind schedule. We race to the train station to take the express train from the airport to Tokyo station, where we need to catch a train to osaka. The line to turn in our JR vouchers to our actual passes is super long at the airport station, so we figure we'll get on the express train and then trade them in at Tokyo station. Big mistake.
