It was a good thing we had our bags or we wouldn't have been able to get into the last bar. ... as we don't drink it. But Dais and I were just cracking up laughing in their faces. I felt a bit bad that all of a sudden I had made some miraculous recovery and someone else could genuinely desperately need them. I said I was sorry but I had felt it was urgent enough to call them out and they reassured me it happens all the time. The last laugh was that they struggled to get out the flat with their bags too. As our front door opens onto a wall and my ...

... her hostel as she had work the next day so Jean & I headed to Obie's to meet everyone but we crossed paths as they were already levaving. We bought some maple syrup for post-birthday pancakes and then headed to Obie's where I was completely thrashed at pool, taught the bar staff some signs and then we decided that 2am was the perfect time to walk up Mt Eden - the volcano we live next to (Classic Auckland). We stayed up there chatting for God know's how long but all ...
