... paid $90 for a taxi we were half sure was the right place. The phone number she gave me was wrong so as you can imagine there was a bit of suspense when we knocked on what we thought was the right door at 2:30 in the morning. ... So were both awake when breakfast arrived at about 10am LA time (1am Perth time). Breakfast was scrambled egg with chicken sausage and baked beans as well as fresh fruit (grapes and 2 kinds of melon) and a yummy fruit yogurt. I enjoyed it but Marie didn't like the powdered scrambled egg much. Marie watched most of a movie about a Maori girl until we arrived in LA on time at 12.55pm (3.55am Perth time)

Nicola got an inflatable kiwi bird and we have named it Miss Carter. Beth was very pleased with her purchases. We then sat by the lake and caught up with our group for a few hours then headed to Fergburger and the most unreal burgers and rolled back to the hotel but managed to roll into a shop to get jelly. ... this impulsive choice is because I feel stuck here, nothing to do, i'm not achieving anything in my life but I want to, so bad. I want to be good at something, follow my dreams and be the best person I can. And being here, will not help me achieve my goals.
I'm so nervous, i've never left the country on my own to go to a place I only know vaguely from holidays. But this is what makes it so exciting.
