    ... br> Went in search of food, look all around and ended up in a countdown. We didn’t really find anything cheap that we could have to tea, that was easy to make anyway, so we got a few things from there, then went and got a pie from the shop again.

    ... We left matamata at 5 and headed to rotorua aka stinky town!! We checked in pohutu motel, where they upgraded us to a double story, a wet room and a spa bath! We just chilled this eve. The pohutu geyser is right behind the motel and erupts every 35 minutes, we were lucky enough to catch it without having to wait. Day 5..woke to rain, we decided to go do the gondola, luge and zip line. The gondola was okay, gave you a view of rotorua. Now the luge was pretty awesome, it's a 3 ...

    ... not ready until 2:30, so off to find a place to eat lunch and we lucked out ended up on Deck 11 (12 decks total) right at the back with a table for two on a beautiful day. For the lunch, the restaurant was buffet style.

We spent a couple of days there, exploring the city, visiting the National Musuem, known as Te Papa, exploring the shops and best of all, treating ourselves to some Pub Grub in a very traditional Irish Pub - it certainly was money well spent and a very enjoyable treat.
