... feeling the effects. I hope to find out more as I travel. Anyway after a while we got a bit silly and started posing with statues, pretending to kiss them and that sort of thing, and any thoughts regarding the crimes of my ancestors evaporated rather quickly.
We got food and Helen showed me the Sky Tower, which is this tall building with a casino and hotel and-- well for Christ's sake Google it if you're that interested. Also, ...
We landed in Aukland before sunrise. It had been a LONG 13 hour flight. We had an adorable family sitting by us with a little 2 or 3 year old girl. She was so sweet. We joined the road into Oneroa, the main town on the island. It's an attractive seaside town, perfect for a coffee break and some people watching. We had a picnic lunch on Oneroa beach and lazily watched the world go by under the warm summer sun.
Lunch digested, we hopped on a bus and visited the Saturday market in Onstend. We ...
