      Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary Trip

... two families, one from Japan and the other was from Brazil. They were lovely people and it was a great opportunity to meet someone new.

After we had lunch, we all gathered together and got back on to the bus and went back to the AITC campus to finish the rest of our school day. The Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary was a great experience for everyone. We all loved the day and came away with some great knowledge and a new appreciation for what they do for our community.

Mark burst into laughter. As we reached the end of the ride, I tried to recover some dignity but stumbled and fell into ...

... Queensland to new South Wales into Tugun, where we lost an hour due to daylight savings and cruised into yet another beachside community called Coolangatta. This town seemed like a good place to stop for lunch, and since we were now in the mood for fish and chips, we found the local Surf Club and a new beer called Reche (a Sydney brew). These clubs seem to be in every town and are open for visitors. It is also a great place to meet locals, which we do ...

      Days 81-84 (Surfers Paradise)

A travel blog entry by roshansood on Jun 06, 2013

Well, the party and entertainment capital title definitely lived up to its name! Four great nights out later, we are ready for a detox! We had a great hostel at surfers paradise- it was an apartment style 4 bed dorm which meant we had our own kitchen, bathroom and lounge. Of course, because there are four of us we had the whole place to ourselves! During the day, we chilled and ate far too much! We ...
