The apartment block is located perfectly for the Surfer's experience. Just outside the building is the tram, taxi stand, bus and the centre of the city, Cavill Mall.
The apartments are basically well appointed and the views are spectacular. We had a double bedroom and views over the beach/ coast and the city/ hinterland.
Daily service included is a nice bonus. Enough room for four adults with a lounge and separate dining area, with the main suite including the spa.
Great spot, clean, views to die for and spacious. Ticks all the boxes!

Today we are going to SeaWorld. It is a place we have been returning to regularly and a place Luke enjoys a lot. They have upgraded a piece of the park to include a seal experience area, so we know he'll love it.

We arrived early to the Gold Coast today, tail wind I'm sure. Went to the lovely people at Budget and got our car immediately upgraded and now we have a Jeep! A straightforward drive to Luke's first point of call, the Pacific Fair Shopping Centre. This is where we didn't get to last time, so Luke is super excited about this. On the way, Luke …

The largest markets in Australia is written on the sign out the front of the Carrara markets. We enjoy the experience somewhat until Luke finds things he 'needs' and starts to have a 'need it' attack. But we get around most of the stalls.
The markets re no different to any other in the world. Anne and I are drawn back to Madrid as we chat about …

... going on in the sea. Really enjoyed it. We wandered around the edge looking at all the views, it was weird how it went sea, beach skyscrapers, then normal houses.
Managed to spot the hostel that we were staying at too. Had a sit down and bought some drinks so we could sit down and just look at the view. Had another wander around the room and Ari spotted some birds smelting about in the water, we think it was dolphins fishing as ...

... oil. I didn't think we had any but Maria had managed to fit in and hide a 20litre drum. This saved us. Pouring it in wasn't so fun. We eventually found a funnel and poured it in but it came out fast in surges and we both got covered. In some ways I was glad we were in the middle of nowhere. We got into Tenterfield and popped 70 litres of diesel into the veggie tank. This is ok, the big tank holds 147 litres of veggie oil or diesel or both in ...
