I decided to spend the morning sunbathing, so after I'd had breakfast and checked out I went a laid by the pool. I've quite enjoyed my time at surfers, even if it has been a little lonely! Today I got up early and took my breakfast down to the beach. And stayed there basically the whole day! Thoroughly enjoyed watching the lifeguards barreling down the beach in their 4x4s to shout at people up-close over their tanoys. Just swim between the flags people. ... and enjoyed an early lunch near the sea. On the way back the radio advised that people in the Labrador and Broadbeach area should put their cars under cover to protect them from hail! We returned to the van and were relieved to see that other than everything under the annexe being pretty wet we had escaped any major damage.
