At Glenarm I left the interstate to travel a short distance off Route 66 to view the Sugar Creek Covered Bridge which like Route 66 has been by-passed by a more modern bridge. So armed with our car and our EZ66 guide (easy, well we'll see) off we set this morning having retraced our steps by car to the original starting point on Adams and Michigan. After just a slight diversion ( the Chicago Fire and Rescue deciding to practice their skills Downtown and shut off several streets) we set off following our invaluable guide on the first part of our journey, 200 miles to Springfield, the State Capital.

... Mini yay. After a few minutes we came across a Walmart. We went in for a shop - found a cable to connect Vicki's iPod to the stereo and went on our merry way again.
