... hotel and I adjusted Dave P steering. It was about 4.5 inches of play and I got it to about 3 inches. It has been hot - 90's. Tuesday I took out the thermostat from the top radiator hose and engine has been running cooler. I have also been playing with the spark and have found a sweet spot were the engine runs real well and temp has been the lowest. We woke to a foggy, damp and pretty miserable day but our plans would not be dampened. Springfield, capital of the State of Illinois and home to its most famous resident, Abraham Lincoln prior to his move to the White House in 1861, became our focus for the day.
