    We woke to a foggy, damp and pretty miserable day but our plans would not be dampened. Springfield, capital of the State of Illinois and home to its most famous resident, Abraham Lincoln prior to his move to the White House in 1861, became our focus for the day.

    ... Mini yay. After a few minutes we came across a Walmart. We went in for a shop - found a cable to connect Vicki's iPod to the stereo and went on our merry way again.
