It also started clouding / misting over and was fairly cold, so we didn't hand around too long.<br><br>Headed into the 'old' historic town in the later part of the afternoon and just wandered the streets, dodging the crowds. Went into the La Compañía de Jesús in Quito which was fairly tacky. Anyway, thats Quito and tomorrow is the Galapagos, therefore no updates for another week.

The tradition continues and so we left several postcards in the wooden post barrel with our addresses on them, so we&#8217;ll see if they make it home. ... as old town. There are sooo many churches, cathedrals, museums and just old colonial architecture. We are only going to be here for three days before we head out to this hostels sister hostel the Secret Garden in Cotopaxi, which is Ecuadors largest active volcano, I can harly wait. The food is good and the beer is cheap not to mention that everyone that we talk to has another activity that we have to do before we leave. Some are really interesting ...
