      Scots Highland Christmas

      ... entertained
      The lying and cheating
      Were in no way refrained

      We dropped by the Cairngorms
      Where Santa does graze
      His magical reindeer
      When its not Christmas days

      And to finish our venture
      An old steam train trip
      Through snow dusted Scotland
      With mulled wine to sip

      A time like none other
      Our Christmas was great
But we all missed our families
      On that 25th date

Dufftown is the single malt capital of Speyside. More distilleries... The Glenlivet, Strathilsa, Belvenie, Glenfiddich, Mortlach and a hundred more. ... Burgh in the 12th century by King David I of Scotland.
Stop if you will and give thought to all that has happened in those 900 some
years. What is remarkable (but not unusual in these parts) is that much of the
old infrastructure remains in use. Thankfully this doesn't include plumbing
which has been upgraded over the years! Relying on the sanitary arrangements of
our distant forefathers is beyond thinking about given that they were all
      dirty, smelly ...

... played holes completed the week nicely..

most were a bit tired and weary, some focused on the journey home, others lamenting that the week was too short....

Fairly quick round, with IM confused by me marking his ball on one hole.!!!!

Breathless day with a very heavy dew, made for finding balls in the rough quite difficult...

good week all round and plant to return in 2015.
