    ... for information as you go around. Makes it easy to get around at your own pace. Gardens are gorgeous, with vege gardens and flowers to make the Castle run self sufficiently. Very impressive.     ... so he is now right at home! Had some lunch in the cafe there, and so fed and watered went off in search of "Nessie"! Put on our hunting gear and scanned the Lake for any signs! Took some photos of ourselves and not the Monster, who is still out there!, then off to Port Augustas and a pint at "The Bothy" called..........your guessed it! NESSIE! Home at 7pm and a nice bbq at 10pm, some good music, beers and yarns till midnight (again)! Another great day in the ...

    ... had a beer called "Sheepshaggers Gold!" What a hoot (sorry bout the pun)! Finished eating at 4.30pm. Full tummies and now a look around. Went up to Cairngorms National Park Skifield Road (no snow - Summer?!), and looked over the land around from a height. Nice drive around the immediate area. Home round 7pm and still way to full for any food or drink. Stays ...

    We stopped for lunch in Elgin where the weather was nice enough to sit outside and enjoy the fine Scottish weather. we saw the Elgin Cathedral, built in the 1200's and enjoyed the peace of their Biblical Gardens. our after lunch stop was the Benromach distillery...a small family run operation.     ... in behind a tourist bus and pootled along behind it all the way until it stopped on a narrow bridge in Fort Augustus, at the southern end of the Loch, when we and the other two cars who had accumulated in the convoy were able to squeeze past.

    The southern road was much smaller, much quieter (except for a large, very strung-out party of cyclists who all looked to be in their mid-60s - or maybe they were just not-very-fit 20-year-olds!) ...
