Stop if you will and give thought to all that has happened in those 900 some
years. What is remarkable (but not unusual in these parts) is that much of the
old infrastructure remains in use. Thankfully this doesn't include plumbing
which has been upgraded over the years! Relying on the sanitary arrangements of
our distant forefathers is beyond thinking about given that they were all
dirty, smelly ...

Breathless day with a very heavy dew, made for finding balls in the rough quite difficult...

We checked into Hay Lodge Bed & Breakfast in Nairn (lovely B&B), strolled past The Bandstand and The Toorie, walked about (and played on) Leisure Park, had dinner at the Aurora Hotel, drinks at The Classroom and Havelock House...lovely ...
