What a finely tuned operation this is ! The boat is 333 metres long, 4345 guests, 1388 staff, 140,000 tonnes. 500 large american cruise patrons, cruising the world one buffet at a time. Operating 20db above everybody else. 1000 Germans looking like they aren't enjoying themselves. 500 Russians splashing their newfound cash. 500 Japanese tourists trying to get as many pictures of themselves as they can in their ...

... is that the hotel is affiliated with a French vacation company. It is written on all reviews so I cannot understand how come some guests have no idea about it while others consider this a negative! This is how the situation is here, so it is either accepting it or checking elsewhere. If somebody finds it that frustrating to be around with French…what can I say!

Then we got back to the Hilton and we had to circle the hotel a couple of times because the "easy return" was ridiculous. Security showed us where to park it and we were good. I took the laundry we dropped off upstairs as well, we picked that up when we left the hotel before, only $13 euro for 14 pounds of clothing.

Tomorrow is a day full of walking. We're off to bed.

... civilization, that is why i feel a bit bored here. Overall, in terms of comfort the hotel is ok. To pass time, i stayed in the bar (was not lucky to have a room with a beautiful view). Facetime my niece, Kathryna and my Doha based friend, Wigdan to keep me company while all-by-myself sitting in one corner. Ordered margarita to have a good sleep later. Hope this works! Have to wake up at 2:30am to take ...

... That means there are posh cafes on the waterfront but one street back everything looks pretty rough, and some streets even look a little bombed out. It is an industrial city under economic strain, and it shows. The other reason tourists come is why we came--to see the ruined Temple of Poseidon. Most arrive by tour bus and a few sail over on private yachts from an island; rarely do people stay the ...
