    ... s Palace, with everything Roman, to collect our 1 day Power Pass bought online and for many of our entrances tomorrow. It was quite amazing inside, with marble, fountains and even curving escalators. As it was after 5pm and we hadn't actually had lunch we headed on over to the Magic Mile of Shops at Planet Hollywood for our burgers at Ketchup Premium Burgers using a half price Groupon discount.

    9 hours driving 400 miles 3 States 8 hours Podcasts listened included The Archers, Wittertainment, Danny Baker and Ric**********... What a day, the longest yet but one of amazing sights and experiences along Route 66. We left by 9am and took the road out of the Canyon to rejoin the Mother Route about 60 miles south.
