    Helicopter flight to Grand Canyon

A travel blog entry by marcellinousa on Dec 19, 2014

... of entertainers and battling our way through the homeless and sprukers. Vegas is really a crazy place, something on every corner, all day and all night long! We took the bus down to Fremont street, where the old town (cheaper part of town) was buzzing with activity. Kobi asked if he could go on the zip line so we agreed he could, I thought he was just going to sit on the ride which was really high but thought Steven could go on with him, so I planned to ...

    ... morning.

We arranged for a spa day for Stella on the 28th because she was looking really scruffy from the 700-mile drive through the rain and highway muck in Oregon and California. A crew of five guys came right to our sight to wash and detail her and I must say she looks pretty spiff now. What lady doesn’t want to look good in Vegas? Next the refrigerator started beeping a warning alert so Dan dragged out the manual, which told us to call a technician because ...

    On the Buses

As John Roy had never been to Las Vegas before and wanted to do some shopping we were up at a reasonable time and got all day all area passes for the Deuce and other buses which at $8 each is not bad value. The Riviera is not a bad hotel but it does not rank as one of the best places to eat. We decided to treat ourselves and headed to the Bellagio for the Buffett Breakfast for four it came to just over $82 which at 1.60 to the pound was Ģ12.80 each.

... couldnīt even move…the portions in the USA are just not normal! Plus since in Asia Tez and I got used to not eating so much, every time we went out to eat we could barely finish our meals; most of the times we asked for one meal and shared.

We arrived in our hotel, El Cortez Casino & Hotel, which was situated in Downtown Las Vegas, close to the Fremont Street, which is considered to be the Old Vegas, however, itīs still very nice and cheaper that ...

    Day 25 - Grand Canyon

A travel blog entry by samfader on Sep 25, 2014

Grand Canyon National Park - boy it's grand! Yet another place that looks like a postcard, doesn't feel real, and you can't take a photo of. As per usual we slept in until about 9:30, got going and hit the South Kabio?? Trail by about 11:30 after catching shuttle buses. Beautiful views the entire way, with a really nice graded walk. Essentially down ...
