... northerly route via Monmouth, M5, M42, M40 and were confronted with a constant downpour, as if driving constantly within the rainy front. One particular lorry submerged the car in a swamp of water - total wet-out and 'this could be the end of the world as we know it'. We survived 4+ hours of rainy driving to return to a damp Syresham and a cold cottage.

... rest days, so surprisingly we haven't lost any game time before today. However, mid innings the rain starts to come down.
