... in a pub! We met up with Isy and Ryan's friends and sampled some beer. I had sampled some cider instead of beer! Was a nice afternoon. Today we took Ava to the snowdome! Which I now see is how the British do winter sports! The lack of snow in this country makes winter activities hard! So they have indoor skiing/snow boarding, tubing/ sledding and a section to ...

... Warwick Castle is a medieval castle developed from an original built by William the Conqueror in 1068 situated on a bend of the River Avon. The original wooden motte-and-bailey castle was rebuilt in stone in the 12th century. During the Hundred Years War, the facade opposite the town was refortified, resulting in one of the most recognisable examples of 14th century military architecture. It was used as a stronghold until ...

Game 8 - vs The British Judiciary

A travel blog entry by sandshoephil on Jul 23, 2014

... injury last week and Stirling has returned to the group following surgery to his broken finger the previous evening. Batting first we are off to a bad start as both Bill and Ross fail to respect the opening bowler who does look like he is bowling fruit but two poor looking shots see us at 2/5 and on the back foot early. Jim has opened again today and makes a slow but steady 20 off 48 balls. Gill continues his good ...
