... to give up, it had a turned into a baby, it just kept getting bigger and bigger, it would not be walked off. We had a drink at a bar and it got a new lease of life, the cous-cous baby was stealing all my bodily fluids.

After leaving Pont Aven Annie suggested we visit Uncle Paul who lives just down the road from them, he is 84 and suffers from all sorts of ailments ...

After Pontivy the sun came out to play, one minor satnav cock up getting out of Pontivy but then a straight run through Quimperle, Moelan Sur Mer and then Kerfany. Absolutely brilliant riding.Will's bike was thirsty so we topped up en route at Moelan.Garmin really are **** at navigating you through towns, pick shortest route to avoid the dual carriageways but then come to a town and it takes you down every alleyway it can find, as near as damn it as the crow flies. ... up. Hmm perhaps I misheard him, thought he said chicken but this is red like Ceasers small dog food. Anyway, try it, not bad. take a photo (a la Meynell), wash it down with some cider.
Out comes beef tongue with salad and mashed potato, covered in tomato and vegetable sauce - quite tasty. it looks like slices of beef and is very soft, perhaps it's not the animal's tongue after all.
