We arrived late after a big day of travel. A pretty town rising on both sides from a river with foot and road bridges every 50 meters.

After our delicious lunch we ate light in an upstairs Creperie run by a Mother and son. Just the job, a carafe of wine and a savory and sweet crepe each.

As we were walking about 100 or so runners with head lamps passed us, off on some nighttime endurance run I suspect. Completely mad!

Our Penultimate Day in Brittany

Today our trip to Tregunc and Concarneau and Pont Aven on the south coast of Brittany was in bright sunshine. From St Malo it took about 3 hours. We checked in at the hotel Les Grandes Roches (the big rocks) and discovered that it was a Relais du Silence- a quiet place for relaxation.
