... It's very weird sitting in the right front seat as a passenger and it did feel like Rob kept too close to the right side of the road. Anyway, with Rob's previous Europe driving experience and my 'helpful' feedback we successfully negotiated our way to our destination. We travelled a few different style of roads, some quite narrow and with no road markings and a great motorway for most of the trip. We made a couple of rest stops at two ...

I'm writing this from Mont St Michel on Saturday. Our final riding day was yesterday and the weather gods really turned it on; it was a lovely day. Cool and breezy in the morning and warmed up quite a bit in the afternoon. The riding was the shortest trip of the week, 46kms with only gentle hills, lots of downhill and flat. Mont ...

... beach front. Traci and Kate decided to head off together to spend some quality girl time together while Nathan and Roy headed off to complete a geocaching challenge of finding 5 caches from a series hidden in this pretty beachside town. It took some doing but the boys finally found all the caches and completed their first ever series.

We then drove north following the coast to a larger beachside town called Coutainville ...

... is to get out , walk to the other end of the bus and then drive off in that direction. Not a bad idea really and Traci could even manage this!

Upon arriving at the island we walked through the medieval walls and began exploring this remarkable location taking winding and narrow paths that make up the streets in the village which is filled with shops, restaurants and private homes. Roy sent us off on a geocache hunt ...
