... to get to the ticket office. Well worth waiting, think my favourite part was the lovely cloisters with their central garden and an amazing view across the bay. Stopped in the way home to buy chicken for a dinner at home, sat in the courtyard for a pre dinner pastis in the lovely warm evening. We have been so lucky with the weather, warm and sunny every ...

... interesting trip with only around 20 passengers on. Boat designs to carry over 100. We went through locks on two barges, the second very large and there were three yachts as well as us in the lock. Then arrived in St Malo, which is quite impressive arriving from ...

With full tums we heaed to the supermarket and slowly wended our way home, stopping off in one of the churches to listen to someone playing the organ. ...

We left our hotel and drove to Mont St. Michel. Its an island, that has a small village with an Abbey on the top, inhabited by monks. They have been there since 873 AD. The place is really cool. The village was packed with tourists and souvenir shops. We opted for a 4 ticket package to 4 sites on the island. Luckily not many people were doing this and we didn't have a lot of people around. ...

... woods and flat easy walking to the pretty town of Lehon. Passed a lock along the way, this is a popular river for boating, and we think that might have to go in the future trips file. The town is dominated by the central, church, originally an abbey, built in 9th century. The cloisters contain a beautiful medieval garden.nd the village perched ...
