We had a rude awakening in Lessay Le Chateaux with rubbish truck men banging on our window to move so they could get past. So we headed off to Ceauce where we stopped for breakfast, before carrying on to St Hilaire du Harcouet and a Lidl for our almost daily pastries. Getting out of our car in the farthest reaches of the parking lot the heat hit us. It was smoking hot, luckily we got to cram into a bus sardine style instead of walking the 5 km through the muddy wastelands to get into the Mont a Unesco heritage site.
