... wanting to spend his euros on Lego since we arrived, but there is only one dedicated Lego store in Paris and it is at the Disney Village. So, off we went to find Evan's Mecca. The Lego store was enormous and so it took awhile for Evan to decide on two smaller sets. After our Lego excursion, we had a lakeside supper (at 9pm! We are getting in to this late Euro supper thing) at the Earl of Sandwich and then caught our trains home. A successful day at ...

Another day in the park. Not too crowded so we started with a sedate rail journey around the park on a real locomotive. It can be quite hard to work out what is real and what is not. Andreas had sent a really long email suggesting things for us to do. It goes without saying that we took heed and tried to follow his itinerary to the very last letter. We had a fantastic day full of activities. Left before ten and cane home at ten. What a day! Started the day with buying a one day pass on Velib, Paris's rental bikes. What a system. You unlock a bike at one station, use it as you please and lock it up wherever ...

... After the Louvre, we headed towards the Eiffel Tower. It is a beautiful piece of architecture and the grand park before it makes it romantic. Couples were sitting in the park, drinking wine and kissing. I don't think that Paris is more romantic than other cities I have been to, I just think that the Parisians like to publicly show their affection. Sometimes I was tempted to yell "get a room" as it was a little too much PDA for me even! That being said I wish Todd ...
