... Arc de Triomphe). We came up from the metro and there it was. We circled around it then went underground to the Arch itself. The Arch is 50 meters tall and honors those who fought and died for France in the French Revolution and napoleonic wars. The names of all the French victories and generals inscribed on its inner and outer surfaces. Beneath its vault lies the tomb of the unknown soldier from world war 1. ...

The big day was today, our twins turning five. We had set the alarm so we could all get up to catch a bus to Disneyland but it took everyone a bit of time to wake up after the late and exciting evening last night. We walked through the sketchy streets and managed to find Our way into the city by train. We saw the Eiffel towers light show at 12:00pm which was really pretty. Photos were taken then we decided it was time to find the club as it was raining and freezing. Our group split to get into cabs, half of ...

We had such an amazing day seeing many different churches, including the oldest church in all of Paris from 512 AD! Notre Dame's stain glass was not like anything I have ever seen. The organist was playing beautifully while we toured the church. I took a short video of it. Mom began lighting candles for Papa here and something strange happened. Her candle had an aurora over the flame we both could ...
