    ... to drive up to the church at Montmartre and saw amazing artists do their thing, Ra you would be in heaven will not want to leave you know.

    I learned how to protect yourself from con artists as they have targetted me 4 times!!! Good thing I had people around me who knew what to look for....and that, is a discussion for another time..hehehehe

    Currently flying over the Alps on our way to Rome! Time to catch up on the blog. On our third day we woke up early and went to the very top of the Eiffel Tower! I bought our tickets 3 months ago so no lines to wait in (which were immense) and special pass to the very top where only preordered tickets could go!     ... Lapin Gill' which was, of course transformed into ' Le Lapin Agile' ...and that stuck. The original sign is now in the Musee de Montmartre, but a reproduction does a fine job.....

    Update.....we went, we saw, we listened and it was great! Highly recommended. The performers just sit around a table in the middle of the tiny room and sing their little hearts out...

    A sleep in and off to la fayette shopping centre which was packed to the rafters with people. We made it to the top floor and lunch was sat people watching, the interior is amazing (photo attached) and I got out without buying anything. We stepped out in to super heavy rain and finally got back to the hotel, picked up our cases and cabbed to orly airport, the roads were flooded and I have confirmed I never ever want to drive in Paris.     ... beer and as we sat there it started raining . Not for long though. Centre de Pompidou next visit and we had 1 1/2 hour there before it closed at 9. Saw a fantastic exhibition of Roy Lichtenstein. Pop art at its best. Will remember many of the exhibits for ever i think. Completely different crowd there from the other museums we went to today.
