... wonderful friendly camping. The sun had come out and stayed for the rest of the day, so that was marvelous ! The first castle we wanted to visit was Azay le rideau, absolutely stunning from the outside and which we visited also inside. (Entrance 8 pp). ... a speciality of one of the little eateries and we thought that it was a little unusual so it won out, despite the kids saying pizza. Glad we did because it was bloody delicious. It was pretty simple, just a savoury scone with some toppings but they were so tasty. And a bonus was that the girls all liked it too. Except Allegra who just wanted the biscuit we had promised for after dinner. A lazy mosy on back to Sven rounded off what ended up being a really great day.
