    ... yesterday for the first time in 35 million years. On the toe. Despite considerable pain she is soldiering on, putting her best wasp-stung toe/foot forward. Yes, she told me I had to write that. Another version is she said "****" very loudly, a lot. There were lots of wasps 20 miles east of Paris. Oh the irony in such a Catholic country.

    It's all too beautiful. Not the pasta and ham, though that was nice too, but the vista (oh so Dave!) that has opened ...

  • We decide to walk home on the low road through Zellenburg, our very own "El Camino". Le Route de vin d'Alsace. About 5 kms we thought. Once again we misjudged the distance, it was more like 10 kms. Very hot and worn out by the time we got to our gite.
