... Manly we were greated with impressive shore lines with golden
sand and palm trees! Heading in the direction of a long picturesque walk
got about 7mins in and couldn't draw ourselves away from the beach(and
especially the volleyball matches going on) and stayed put for about 2
Strolling further down, we bumped into to 'Soccer Joey' who was more than
delighted to pose for a 'photie' with us!

... 500 there tonight and it was a great atmosphere. Despite not really on knowing the rules, our native Aussie friend Kristy sorted us out with what was going on. It was a really close game with the swans taking the Iead in the first 2 quarters but the Richmond Tigers came back with bang and got a 95-77 win. Fantastic experience and enjoyed it alot more than I would have thought. Great fast moving and physical game.

So, absolutely shattered we returned home via taxi, and to bed.

Rome: my first visit and we only had 3 days but boy did we pack those 3 days. Staying in the centre of the old city was brilliant with so much to see and do right on your doorstep. I loved walking the streets and being constantly surprised. The people were amazing, not so the food which did surprise me.
Highlight: Vatican City. Something I don't think I'll do again because of the crowds but I'm so glad I have had ...

Well not much happening today, besides, more rain and wind, and more rain and wind. I ventured out to the shop, however, not a good idea, I got soaked. Yesterday, Joanna, our land lady, took us to the shop for supplies. We ran out of a few things, so I had to do the dirty. Did some more school work and I prepared dinner. Postponed our trip to the zoo to ...

... victory I headed back to meet Vicky in Pyrmont and we went out for a Chinese. Literally a stones throw from our house the food was delicious and the portion sizes huge - something to consider for next time! We again just relaxed afterwards hoping to get an early night in preparation for a trip to the blue mountains the following day. The trip that is ever elusive it would appear: we checked the forecast in the early hours and it ...
