It's been a few days since I last checked in - Jim and I arrived in Grand Rapids last Saturday eve right before a huge lightning, thunder & torrential rainstorm struck! That storm was probably the most dramatic storm I've ever witnessed - well...actually, maybe a close 2nd to that tornadic storm that Mom, sisters and I witnessed in Kansas in 2001. Left at 0700 and rode 500 feet for breakfast because the sky looked like it was going to open up.
Did the Tunnel of Trees, then stopped for custard at Bop-In in Bay View, Michigan.

A perfect day? You bet!
Time to move on in the morning ...

A small group at a rest stop in MI, then 9 riders from several locations at the Cracker Barrel in Flint, Mi. Yup, they were loving ...
