... trying to get me connected. His wife Annabel and their son all live with Uncle Boy and Auntie Eli. Needless to say, it was a crowded house, but everyone is so nice (even if they don't speak LOL). I later learned that the two younger cousins are ridiculously shy, so it wasn't me. They smiled and laughed continuously after I ran out of the outdoor shower multiple times due to SPIDERS THE SIZE OF MY HAND. UGH!
I got to see two schools while there, and ...
... sat on scaffold poles, which is another one for "Health and safety at work". This probably needs it's own blog as there's loads of them and we're only 10 days in. There is a massive restoration undertaking going in, with people reconcreting stuff, planting trees and all sorts of crazy ****. Big chunks if the park were closed come to think of it, especially the spot where Rizal (he's the guy that they made their Hero/Martyr when they reclaimed independant just before 1900) ...
... So I had a salad with balsamic dressing, a chicken salad sandwich and some chips... O.M.G. I think this is what my body has been craving the last couple of days. The Filipina in me still loves my Filipino food, but the Americana in me is craving carbs - bread, potatoes and salads... who knew!?!? Anyway, my tummy was very happy with the meal and didn't strike back! Yay!

... took half an hour extra as the weather was terrible, we also saw lighting out the plane window! Not kewl!!! Once arrived we got a taxi down the road to airport view hotel 375000D. It was a really nice place with an amazing bed we had to hop up into. So nice and flash with a nice swan decoration in the middle of the bed with a red rose and petals around. Off to sleep, it was about 3am by this ...
Just yesterday, as I was preparing and packing, I realized I haven't rebooked my KLM flight back to Manila to March 16. Unfortunately, the business center is closed on weekends so I decided to drop an email instead and rebook it from Berlin. Since I was already on the site, I decided instead to check in early so we could get the best seats and skip the long line at the airport.
Now, I haven't seen my passport ...

Amazing service, great room, luxurious accommodation, was treated very well, never stayed at a Marriott before, it was an amazing experience. I would definitely do it again.
