... means there's a lack of information available.

If the political situation continues to improved then tourism will undoubtedly grow but hopefully still maintaining the charm that exists today in the historical parts of the towns/cities.

If you go there make sure you brush up on your basic Spanish or you just won't be able to experience anything other than frustration. Guildford, England, United Kingdom tiggerbird... not that left as you would have gone too far" we managed to make our way to the famed Stonehenge by 5.10pm. What beautiful countryside! We happily paid our £6.50 entry each and proceeded to pass under the road and up the other side to find tourists everywhere! It was meant to shut at 6pm and there were still people everywhere! Stonehenge - I found - was amazing. At first when you arrive your immediate response is oh yeah...okay, rocks...but then ...
London, United Kingdom adamhills... sunshine that I'd seen in England - so much so that I had to get changed into a singlet and soak up some rays. We took advantage of the good weather and had lunch out on the deck of the Weyside pub (beside the Wey canal). Had a laugh at tourists trying to drive barges down the canal and negotiate the bend in front of the pub ...
Guildford, England, United Kingdom ccq... my liking, so I am really looking forward to arriving somewhere as culturally different as the Czech Republic, especially once we get out of Prague. The beer isn't hurting my expectations either... Since the last disaster of a blog we have been to the The Old Operating Theatre museum (Gaynor's decision), which consisted entirely of an original and untouched 1822 Operating theatre located in the roof ...
London, England, United Kingdom tomngaynor... Lou and Steph also from Australia- for dinner. Day 3 consistered of going to Camden markets in the morning with jess who had stayed over. It was recommended to us by a number of people however it was greatly disappointing. We found Camden Town to not be to pleasent as it was equivelent to australias version of Newtown/Redern with just all the druggy people. There was nothing worth ...
London, United Kingdom alanaandben... I did have a short nap (okay that was my jet lag) for 30 minutes as I waited for Heidi to arrive home to eat dinner. Another lovely meal ending with some cupcakes I picked up at Waitrose a grocery store at Canary Wharf. Today (Friday) the Harry Potter fans are going to be miserable not to the many deaths that are reported to be in the book (that's the rumour here) but because there is so much rain falling today! I have decided not to do a ...
London, United Kingdom jmoon... and the atmosphere was pretty wicked to experience. The race itself is over in the blink of an eye, but all the heritage and rivalry that goes with it is something else. We hooked up with Conrad on Sunday, after watching Karl bail a million times trying to get round the first bend at the Thorpe Park wake-boarding lake - he eventually got it right, but it was well funny watching him bail and do the walk of shame back to the ...
London, United Kingdom hodesan... down a spiral staircase to access the platforms.... The normal approach is to use the lift, but this is not a normal situation... and I'm probably not normal either.....the stairs are by far the quickest way down. As you descend the stairs, it is possible to feel the train action at underground level - an approaching train fans a breeze up the stairwell and a gradual hum can be felt in your bones. I can hear something is going on down there so I increase my pace down the ...
Guildford, United Kingdom phildee76... sleeping bag with Di (Janene's friend) who slept on the twin bed. John and Leesa slept in two twin beds in another room, Janene and John stayed in the main room and Nick and Tim (John's friend) stayed in the living room in sleeping bags. There was just enough room for all of us. At night it got pretty cold but the sleeping bag was nice and warm so the only time I noticed the cold was getting up to go to the bathroom! These Australians have a different idea of cold :)
Guildford, Australia marttilak... a) it doesn't really go out of date, b) I'm quite happy with hard water, and c) to drink fizzy drink would take up far too much precious stomach space with air. To burn all this off, I have been lugging a blanket and book out onto the lawn, arranging it so as to avoid the puffballs, and then grabbing it to run back inside as it begins to rain. The process is repeated, about 4 times an hour. Lying out on the lawn revising has created a delightfully seamless ...
