Sadly, our coastal excursion had to end in Zadar. A small and less touristy town than the others along the coast. Zadar hosts a unique Sea Organ, which is an installation consisting of a series of pipes and holes built into marble steps that creates music as the water laps against the steps. If that's not cool enough, there is also a piece known ...

Phew. Lib and Phoebe were extremely brave and went for a swim / paddle in the lake at the bottom of the biggest falls. It was allowed but nobody else seemed keen, bunch of wimps. Unfortunately I couldn't go in myself as I had to look after the bags. A ...

A travel blog entry by brunning on Aug 29, 2013

Free day today :) took the opportunity to sleep in and catch up on sleep as did most people. When I finally left the hotel at about 12 I went for a decent size run to get my bearings of the place. Ran all up for about an hour which was much needed considering the lack of exercise I've been doing. Once back at the hotel I met up with a few of the guys and went with them to the private beach at the campsite about ...
