Not having a casino makes this a wonderfully quiet and intimate hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location.

Two weekends ago, we headed up to Great Basin National Park for the new moon astronomy program. The stars were incredible! I got some great shots of the Milky Way rising over the mountains. It was also a good test of the new CBs that Chris and I had installed in our trucks. The reviews are positive, and we're excited with how well we can stay in touch using the CBs instead ...

We made our way on foot down to Downtown Tattoo to see Buddy Holiday for our holiday ...

... when going to Vegas, I guess like I said before its a Ferris wheel but the pods can fit lots of people in them I think about 20 , some people even get married in them because it's only 30 dollars each. Once we got down we walked to catch the courtesy bus back to the trump hotel. And that concludes our last night in Vegas. Off to New Orleans today, we are just waiting at the airport for our flight. No blog tonight everyone, we are having another full day of airports :( Katie & ...

... Afterwards we passed the Rock bar, planet Hollywood, Bellagio, Le Paris, lots of people in fancy dress every where, scantily clad girls, an Elvis and Hangover guys, one in only a thong, and the other with a beard carrying a baby in a porpoise. Sun baking and hothothot we continued to enjoy all the sights along the strip, popping in for a little French connection at the Eiffel Tower, Arc de triumph with Gordon Ramsey's ad for his restaurant over it. Going inside Le Paris ...
