Not having a casino makes this a wonderfully quiet and intimate hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location.

Hayley made bacon pancakes to celebrate and then we all got ready for our day on the strip.

I had already showered and washed my hair so I was sitting outside waiting for the others and enjoying the rays. Now, I have had my hair in plaits a lot in order to ...

... It is amazing what it's okay to say in Las Vegas! We are still blushing ;). We are very glad we went. We have enjoyed Las Vegas more than we expected at first glance. As one of Michael's colleagues so astutely commented, it's so surreal that it's like a really funky dream and then you get to leave!

We are expecting upper 60's tomorrow in Death Valley, so our final destination should be really nice.

Something else that really intrigued me was before the rodeo began, everyone stood up, and the commentators lead everyone in prayer. He prayed for the safety of the riders, as well as the safety of the country and the troops. To see and hear 18,000 people before a major sporting final stand up and pray ...
