Just when I thought I couldn't top it........
Two of my interns were leaving to go back to the US with a stop on the way at Xi'an. Why does that sound familiar? O Yeah, it has something to do with two thousand year old Chinese life size Toy Soldiers. So Pam and I said, "Mind if we tag along?" The reply was affirmative, so off we went.
As is usual when interns leave Zigong, there is …
AS THE WORLD TURNS......
For many of you SOAP fans, the title of this entry will sound familiar. Maybe I should call it 'AS THE ANCIENT WORLD TURNS.' So the story goes like this. TravelPod Member ReviewsMandarin New Henderson Hotel Xi'an
We were here because of a tour. The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly but still struggle with some English. We ran out of toilet paper and they wouldn't deliver more because they didn't understand us. The restaurant has a good breakfast, but the dinner was limited due to only having half of their menu in stock.

The rooms were spacious, the beds were firm, but comfortable and it was convenient to everyplace our tour guide was going to take us. We will stay there again next time we go to Xi'an.
