Not a bad choice

We were here because of a tour. The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly but still struggle with some English. We ran out of toilet paper and they wouldn't deliver more because they didn't understand us. The restaurant has a good breakfast, but the dinner was limited due to only having half of their menu in stock.

The rooms were spacious, the beds were firm, but comfortable and it was convenient to everyplace our tour guide was going to take us. We will stay there again next time we go to Xi'an.

Our tour guide Julia was okay, however it felt that she was only providing the information that she was permitted to share with tourists - all the government propaganda lines and cautious jokes....

We are here for the warriors.

First impression of Xi'an was not good. If we thought the pollution ("fog or mist" as the locals call it) was bad in Beijing, it was nothing compared to Xi'an. Part of the problem...
