... the first.. The visibilty was good and the terrain was pretty cool. However, I didn't run into anything crazy on this one. I told everyone I was coming home tan and jacked so I laid out on the boat for about an hour in between dives to get that started. And Ive got a loonnng way to go haha
Sunday's boat dives were out to a rare site.. Cocos Island. The currents out there are usually pretty rough so boats almost never make it out there. Its ...
Oceanview, Guam guamblog... experience and it helps the time pass quicker. So far I've knocked out over 130 missions all over the Pacific and have had the opportunity to work with several different aircraft other than just the B52. But my weather life really isn't all that exciting and Im sure if that's what I wrote about a lot less people would read these blogs.. unless they needed a sleep aid haha.
Ok so Saturday we went down to the Navy base on the south part of the island to check ...
Oceanview, Guam guamblog... if I didnt jump the falls, I would regret it later and want to come back. I researched this before I did it by the way... there are videos of people doing it online and I read up on it. So im not completely crazy. The hike up and around the waterfall to the top was a little crazy, involved a lot of swordgrass and a steep muddy slope that I chose to "ride" down feet first on my butt. Once that hill was finished the view ...
Yigo, Guam guamblog... from the tourists to chase divers and yes... I had to join the club and get my tshirt for mooning the submarine. I know.. I know.... I'm going somewhere for that one.
Our second dive was out to fish eye pier, which is similar to Gab Gab in a way. Its a pier that reaches out to waters not much deeper than 35 feet right offshore. At the end of the pier is an underwater observatory where tourists can pay and watch the mass amount of fish the hang out here. Its fun to swim under ...
Oceanview, Guam guamblog... haittaa, koska käyttäytyvät hyvin, eivätkä taatusti ole rantapaikkaa sinulta viemässä. Japanilaiset nimittäin pelkää aurinkoa ja ruskettumista kuollakseen, koska vaaleus on siellä arvossa arvaamattomassa. Japanilaisille tämä Guam on lähin paikka, mistä hamstrata Yhdysvaltojen hinnoilla tavaraa ja aivan karmeaa katsottavaa oli kuinka jengi kahmii paikallisesta luksuskaupasta jotain 1000 euroa maksavia laukkuja kuin irtokarkkeja! Seuraavaksi rupean ...
Tumon, Guam travellerhans...
Tumon, Guam travellerhans... This was my third time in Guam in almost 3 years, but it was the first time that the weather was good. On the 8th, my friend (proud to be Chamorro) gave me a whole day tour of the island. From Tamuning, we went up and took a dip at the fresh wate of Marbo cave then went to the cliff for the awesome sight. After lunch, we took ...
Guam, United States bejtenorio... was seriously disappointed. He was rooting for the Rockies, and I think he had some money riding on it. The flight to Guam was an uneventful 40 minutes. Since I'm in First Class, I even get to use the wireless and snacks at the President's Club while I'm waiting. So here I am, typing to you overlooking the airfield and watching a spider build its web right outside the window.
Tumon, Guam srvance... and steamed, is available for every meal. We decided to stick with good ole pancakes and eggs. My stomach was grateful. Our next order of business is to get some replacement clothes. Please note that while men's boxer shorts can be extremely comfortable, they are not work appropriate (thanks anyway CJ). Exactly one week ago, at nearly the same time, I was at a mall ...
Agana, Guam joelle... to come home after his failed attempt at suicide. Then he pulled out two small bottles of whiskey and we each drank while we talked about life. After all he had experienced, he told me his summation; death is certain, life is not. That little phrase can mean so much to anyone. To me, it meant see the world while you have time and never regeret anything. I've been trying darn hard since.
