... is so manky, we all feel sorry for it but daren't go near it as it is probably Rabies infested. We went to the half moon party which was good fun however the popular drinks are buckets - you basically get a bucket full of spirirts - lethal! We knew about it the next day!

DAY 7
Hangover day. Spent on the beach getting looked after by our adopted mother and Ben. Good food, sun, plenty of water and an early night!
<br ...
Ko Phangan, Thailand rebeccamalcolm... soon were on the sea bed a full 18 metres below the sea level. Our bottom time was 33 minutes, and we saw potato grouper and giant grouper, a white-eyed moray eel, and a huge tuna fish lurking around beneath us. No sharks though unfortunately... or perhaps fortunately, after all, bull sharks are th third most dangerous below the great white and the tiger. Apparently these ones will leave you alone though! This time my air went down to a retarded 30 bar ...
Ko Tao, Thailand alastair6... it is a breeding ground for illicit drugs (luckily I am smart enough not to partake for a variety of reasons, including fear of spending my life shackled to a wall in a Thai prison). To be honest, I was a bit disappointed in the whole event. We danced on the beach for several hours, but basically it was just a big party. I had heard so much hype about the madness of it all but didn't really see the big deal. Unlike many others, who spend the entire night on the ...
Ko Phangan, Surat Thani, Thailand seasiabound... began. It was ridiculously loud and very eerie. I was a bit freaked out by the close proximity of them but managed to stay relatively cool with the situation until I spotted a frog inside on the wall. This was the first of many visitors. We had an army of ants walking the perimeter of our bed, a cockroach and a lizard came to join us too! I have to congratulate Fay on her bravery with the bugs....I think her Bangkok experiences had toughened her up!
Ko Tao, Thailand shunny81... work out the details in a few minutes but the general plan is ferry to Surat Thani, 12 hour train to Bangkok, 12 hour train to Vientiane. That should have us in Laos in time. We're going to stay there a week then come back to Bangkok to collect Lucy's new passport.
Still sorely lacking with the photos but I've taken a lot. We'll upload as soon as we can, promise!!
That's all the news for now.
Love you all.
Miss you all.
Adele and Lucy xxx
Ko Phangan, Thailand lucy_and_adele... to put my loo paper in the bucket but it is quite easy to get used to the lack of mod cons really.

Breakfast today was divine. A bowl of fruit and then noodle soup for lunch. the lttleThai lady in the kitchen thinks I'm really funny as I am so appreciative and think she is an Angel from heaven. The thing is when you've not really eaten for 9 days every morsel is an explosion of flavours in your mouth. Today i started the 7 day holistic retreat so I get a treatment each day ...
Ko Phangan, Thailand lizcap... long boat trip into the wind to the dive site. The wind was making the journey a bit lumpy with lots of spray so the only dry places on the boat for belongings were now soaking wet. After a couple of great dives we returned to shore but everything that I was wearing was now completely sodden and it was threatening more rain. My other shirt, that I had washed last night, was also still wet. I realised that I needed a dry shirt and perhaps a small dry bag to ...
Ko Tao, Thailand jenandtony... on and drove it for a few seconds by myself, then Brian got on. He was enjoying it and not having to worry about the road, just enjoying the scenery (which was wonderful by the way). I hadn't got down how to turn yet, so when we came up to a sharp turn and saw another motorbike coming at us, something clinched inside me and I gunned it instead of put on the brakes. So away we went around this corner, the other person trying to swerve out of ...
Ko Phangan, Thailand unbound... out with our noses. I can honestly say I have never freaked out so much in my life & just swam to the top in a milli-second. It was horrible, I couldn't clear my mask so couldn't see a thing & I freaked out that much my contacts came out so that made it worse!! This is when I met my hero Andy(loks like Matt from Busted),he was a instructor & he never left my side for the whole duration of the open water course then as I was his project. After calming me down we ...
Ko Tao, Thailand maidykm... the best. The next few days was spent on the beach and looking for great Thai food which included seafood for relatively cheap prices. $2 for a crab for example, $7 for a plate of squid, and so on. It was delightful on Sumai , although it's pretty resort like. We headed up to Big Buddha beach after two days to go Full Moon Party. We caught a boat over and back. The Full Moon Party is basically a massive beach party with hundreds of food ...
