Got up at 0830 am, showered, dressed & down for breakfast. Headed off to Lynchburg & the Jack Daniel Distillery tour. Free tour was Great! & tour guide Jason was very good (retired firefighter) We walked into town after & had lunch at the a Iron Kettle restaurant. ... Step Falls were perfect for swimming and wading. There was a section deep enough for jumping off the cliffs, which weren't very high. There was a field in the middle of the park which also had the trails if you chose not to walk under the trees.
The trails in this park were very easy to hike. They would make for a nice Sunday stroll.
Jacob enjoyed the campout at this park so much, he was asking when we would be camping here again.
