... it much time to heal so this was the perfect opportunity. The next couple of days were comprised of sleeping, eating, reading, sunbathing and a very good massage all of which were very handleable. We also met a lovely couple from Amsterdam who we ate lunch and dinner with each day. ... ASEAN and other treaties at work in Southeast Asia. I handed out a few of my business cards to the faculty who were still gathered, including Pak Dave, and followed Pak Ferry and Pak Denny out of the auditorium. Pak Denny suggested that he take Hosanna and the kids and I out to a place close by to the school for lunch - he had wanted to introduce me to another friend of his, but couldn't reach him on his handphone.

The one thing that I could have done without was that every other song played was the annoyingly catchy song 'We're not Broken, Just Bent,' although I am not entirely sure that's the name of it. It's at least the main lyrics of the song - a nice enough, poppy song on the radio these days, but not when you hear it non-stop for three days!
