... take a picture of. It reminded me a lot of the salt flats in Bolivia, but on a smaller scale. There is a very small puddle of water here and a small strip of salt flats theat is very narrow. I found it quite funny to think that the salt flats in Bolivia is nearly 14,000 feet and the one here is below sea level. Another incredible day out on the open road!

We left Panamint Springs behind and travelled through to Mammoth (a ski town up in the mountains). Had amazing views all morning as we rode parallel to the Sierra Nevadas (snow covered mountain ranges).

... When we got to the park, we drove up to Hetch Hetchy and looked at the dam. The dam supplies San Francisco with 20-30 percent of its water and its all gravity fed from about 150 miles away! We arrived at our campsite a little later and set up camp. There's about 80 campsites and everyone of them seems full. We set up, cooked dinner, and went to bed.
