... to your cuban friend about eating alot of papaya.
I have planned out the next 3 months of my life( you think I'm exagerating, but I'm not). Basically it's non-stop bussing around on the weekends to some of the crazy destinations in Nica, but I'll give more details once I have actually been there.
As far as personal life in the house goes, its pretty relaxing. On my run this morning, I saw an eight year ...
So day two...
After a night of drinking 2 boxes-o-wine, Jackie, Suzanne and I all got up nice and early to go and see one of the volcanoes just outside of the city Grenada. So since we all arent quite accustomed to how much things cost, how long it takes to get places, etc., we were not the most efficient of travelers. First off, it took 2 hours to get to a city literally 20km away... at one point the driver was actually reading the newspaper waiting for ...

Back in St. George, we did some shopping in Port and explored the famous spice shops. Dot's plaza had a nice selection of spice and soaps. http://mypages.spiceisle.com/dots/ As well as many street vendors offering baskets with fresh spices. I recommend buying your spices from a ...
Dear Blog,
This morning, the Caribbean Princess made its way to beautiful GRENADA. We arrived at 12:00pm and had the luxury of sleeping in, of taking a relaxed breakfast plus having lunch on the ship before running to the disembarkation deck.
As the ship made its way to the port, my first impression of the island was the beauty of it. Beautiful emerald hillsides and tropical forests were opening up in front ...
After 35 days at sea I am pleased to announce that Foe, Malcolm, Lulu and I have arrived intact and safe into the port of St. George's on Grenada! We had initially planned to make the journey in about three weeks (ha!). What we didn't realise is that apparently the doldrums are no longer located at the equator, but rather a good several hundred miles to the North, where the world famous, never erring, North ...
St George's, Grenada fiona_justin... to pack up but he said he would wait for us....so Deb and I lug all the stuff into the small storefront in various bags and ask for boxes to put the stuff in....no they don't have boxes....well DHL has boxes at home....well we don't have them here...we have envelopes....but the ship said you would ship our stuff home....no boxes....no boxes...no boxes!!! She tries unsuccessfully to fit one of the leather masks into an envelope....as if! Then ...
st george's, Grenada tomtravel... we had beneath our keel. I went on the foredeck to be triple-sure, and we made our way in without any problems. As this point we had four different methods of tracking our position. We slowed down to about 2 knots and crept through the narrow entrance to the harbor without visually seeing it. This one incident illustrates the necessity of constant vigilance and always having multiple tools ready to guide a safe passage. We also listen to the "Safety and Security" net on ...
Prickly Bay, Grenada questmiller... hands, cut through the mountain and retract what flour has been cut. Caution must be heeded not to let the coin fall as this will result in u digging it out of the flour with ur face. NO wiping of flour from ones face is permitted once the coin has been retrieved. Needless to say it often ends up in a flour fight! If i had my camera cable i could show u the results. Then it was onto twister. This is completely foreign to the grenadines, theyve never heard of it. So the others ...
Grande Anse, Grenada beef_jerkey... getting more confident and reporting other things like KUBs, bones (just learnt how to spot a depressed fracture on a skull xray, and no dad, thats not a fracture that is down on itself!) etc. So i go through all those, writing reports for the ones i can manage, but leave the rest for him to run through with me, when he finally arrives. So that takes me to about 1100am normally and then he might run through some films he keeps stached of ...
St. George's, Grenada beef_jerkey... to see all the little islands north of grenada. Here we stopped for our picnic, and champagne! Its totally different up there coz ur looking out over the atlantic ocean rather than the caribbean sea. Its a lot rougher with big crashing waves and an orgasmic breeze that cools u down straight away. There were loads and loads of little deserted island on the horizon. We then made our way home, taking in the great views. Just driving around is probably the best way to see the island ...
