... for finding these in the travel book and for being so excited about this once in a life-time experience. I've been tired, and my first inclination was like one of the guys in our group, "It's just a bunch of rocks." But I'm so glad I got to see them.

Many people think I’m silly for taking pictures from a moving vehicle. With the digital camera, my philosophy is to take any shot that looks interesting, or captures ...

... was nice to put faces with names for all of the people I had been corresponding with to organize and join tours for this cruise. We also visited Montmorency falls - very spectacular with a lot of water flowing from a point 30 metres higher than Niagara. As there were only two cruise liners in port the city was not over run with tourists which made for a fantastic day. We were at sea all day yesterday and are now in Corner Brook Newfoundland ...

... into its snug harbor behind us - a visual feast! If only our pictures were worthy.

We drove back on the same route and then headed north on the TransCanada Highway, a good two-lane road with plenty of passing lanes. Traffic was sparse and we often had the highway to ourselves. Up the road abut 30 miles, we veered off the highway, taking a local road to Cape Ray on the southwest coast. We traveled through a valley of wetlands, passing ...
