      ... at last succumbed to comfort and bought a lilo to sleep on. Her mattress just isn’t thick enough. I don’t know how she has lasted this long as it look mightily uncomfortable to me. I tried one in the camping shop before I came and I knew it wasn’t enough for me.

      ... Tent at King Edward RV Park, we drove into town to have a look. Kaff was on the hunt for Cherries as we heard they had them at a supermarket in Corner Brook for $2.29 per pound. We actually fell upon the shop so she was fortunate. As we usually cant find the end of our nose.. From there we went up to Captain Cooks Lookout..Yes old Cooky is a legend over here too.       ... of restaurants called" Mary Brown’s Chicken and Taters”. They have been everywhere and we can’t remember seeing them last time we were in Canada. It is just like Kentucky only worse. I won’t be going there again as the taters were just wedges.

      Turned out to be not such a good idea in Cornerbrook Newfoundland. Never met such friendly people, if you got near to a kerbside the traffic stopped to let you across! There was shuttle into town provided by the town, but we opted for a taxi to take us to the Captain Cook memorial high up above the town.
