    ... shark, but there were no reported shark attacks in Malaysia (just checking!). The locals here call the sharks "stupid sharks" because they are so harmless and swim away from you rather than at you. I prefer to think of them as gentle and very nice!     ... Amelia and Beth boarded 'Amelia's' small boat, a private tour all for just 25 ringgit each (£4 ish). It was now mid afternoon and very hot, so our boatman tried to erect the tarpaulin roof on his boat for a bit of sun protection and shade, but he had trouble keeping it up!     ... the next 2-3 hours in a room with a TV watching the DVDs and filling in the answer sheets......we were very studious and enjoyed learning the theory to the skills we will be practicing over the next few days!!     ... and the minute we stepped of the jetty on to the beach the sweat immediately started dripping off us. We went into the first place we thought looked pretty 'okay' it was alright, but not worth £18 per night!
