    ... to sit in the open side doorway of the minibus and hold our bikes just outside the van, but off the ground. There were a couple of close calls when I thought my driver wasn't leaving enough clearance between parked cars for my bike sticking out the side to get past, which would have trashed my bike and probably broken both my arms, but we scraped through with inches to spare.

    ... told me I could take the bus on the road side to the the volcano entrance, The driver wanted 75,000! I decided to walk. Only for another bus to pull right up and offer me the trip for 30,000. Still a rip, but a lot cheaper. While Bandung lacks andy charm and beauty, the surrounding countryside is incredible. Leaving the city it becomes less crowded, tea plantations and numerous crops line the hillside. Small collections of houses hug the hillside. ...

    ... resorted to going to bed at 7:00pm with only PB&J or fried egg sandwiches for lunch. Our house was becoming gross and poor Darcy was very perplexed and bamboozled when her favourite hoomans were being very lame in the evenings.

    ... were very endearing and very good at what they did. There was also the son of the man that started the Udjo and he thought all the people there to play the Angklung which was fun to do. We did even look at buying one but how we would have taken that travelling through Australia would have been a bit to much of a challenge.

    We got back to the hotel early in the evening so had some dinner and went to bed for an early flight onto Bali!

    ... walked quite a long old way and it was really hot so when we found the swimming pool (the coldest one i've been in anywhere on this trip so far) it was lush!
