... food twice a day for the last 5 days, I was pretty rice and noodles out, so just had dessert! This turned out to be an interesting experience - i was presented with a bowl full of crushed ice, green tea ice-cream, milk, tapioca balls, some kind of sweet red kidney beans and what tasted like slices of panna cotta. The Saturday of Kyle's birthday was indeed an exciting one, as it was the first time we would be taking in a local soccer match. The Bandung team is known as PERSIB and their mascot logo is a Viking (pronounded vee-king). PERSIB just means a whole lot of unity stuff since they merged a few teams together to make it what it is now. Despite being warned profusely many times on our safety, we still went through with it. Thankfully, we took Oki as our driver and Jojo one of ...

... because his sister is my friend on Facebook and know I wasn't going and tout I needed a chaperone. Probably. At PVJ (Paris Von Java) Mall, we had a couple hours to walk around and experience the sights and smells (there are always food smells in Indonesia). Plus, we wanted to pick up a few snacks and, really, to be in air conditioning. We went to the Carrefour and picked up some seaweed-flavored Lays potato chips, Indonesian peanuts, Ricola to feed ...
