    Thanks to the insiders tip from Kim, we decided to head out to Malibu for breakfast (after peak hour). We chose Marmalade Cafe because it was mentioned in a Michael Connelly Novel I had been reading on the trip. It was a popular place. Then we headed a little way up the road to Solstice Canyon to get a bit of exercise before the 14 hour plane ride. It was a beautiful day, fairly warm but it was still pretty early. ...

    ... Hills (the poorer cousin, but still quite wealthy in normal terms), the difference is obvious immediately... We also visited 'landmark' places such as Sunset Boulevard and the Whiskey-A-Go Go (where the Doors played in the 60s) and the Viper Room. A lot of activity in this part of LA and very funky.     ... up in a mush mash of bedding howling with laughter at our adventures of today. The kids have met gorgeous boys next door and played lots of football and we plan to go surfing on the beach with everyone tomorrow, so some good has come out a fairly bad situation.     Way back in January, when I booked our Ireland flight, I accidentally spelled Mike's name wrong. Instead of Michael I switched the a and the e. I immediately called back Aer Lingus and asked them how to change it. They told me that since it was booked through two airlines, Jet Blue and Aer Lingus, they could not change it.
