    ... cost the same price, and they ended up with the Maserati. The first chapter was more of a history lesson, maybe it would have been best to leave the history lesson for a bit later in the book and interweave that into the rest of the story, much like the book on Skopelos that I had just finished reading. But maybe there was another reason for it, I did not care to find out, she lost me at that point.

    ... so if you come from a country where you drive on the right, you need to be extra vigilant.
    - Have respect for your bike. Don’t ever become overly familiar with it as you may become overconfident and make mistakes that could cost you dearly.
    - Always treat other riders and drivers with respect. Rather give way to them if you are unsure of who has the right of way, or what their intentions are.
    - Drive slowly. I ride a maximum of 40 km/h, slower would be better ...

    Just a quickie as something rather magnificent and hairy happened on Friday 22nd. I of course had had my stay extended by Mo ( who is actually called Mol! ) by two days. Having bought my ticket for the ferry for Friday morning , she rang them from the bar to say I needed it for Saturday. She has very persuasive abilities.     ... So we carried on along the main stretch, past the endless number of dive shops, to see King Rama V's initials carved on a large boulder at Laem Jor Por Ror, the south end of Sairee beach. We then ventured over to the other side of the island to explore some bays and in search of some recommended snorkelling sites.     Despite Courtney and Lucy gone this morning, we began our day much the same as any other here, awful free brekkie, sunbathing on the beach and snorkelling over the seaweed and corals.
