... Marine Park. We enjoyed the day with some steep stair climbs and some ordinary snorkelling. The stair climb was rewarded with spectacular views of a crater lake as well as spectacular views of several islands scattered through the Marine Park. Our Kayaking experience most enjoyable. We are enjoying the tropical fruits and Thai food. Delicious rambutan, pineapple, mangosteen, mango, banana etc. Joan is off to another, massage this afternoon. Beautiful weather 30- 31 each day and 22 at ...

Just a quickie as something rather magnificent and hairy happened on Friday 22nd. I of course had had my stay extended by Mo ( who is actually called Mol! ) by two days. Having bought my ticket for the ferry for Friday morning , she rang them from the bar to say I needed it for Saturday. She has very persuasive abilities. So that night myself, Hugo, the two boys and Mol were enjoying a quiet evening sip of Chang when a loud rumbling sound engulfed us. This thunderstorm ...

Despite Courtney and Lucy gone this morning, we began our day much the same as any other here, awful free brekkie, sunbathing on the beach and snorkelling over the seaweed and corals. By lunch I had a serious case of itchy feet and suggested we rent a moped and head out exploring the island in search of any hiking foot trails. The bikes in Cambodia and Vietnam have all been old and dirty, and very relaxed about renting them. ...

As usual I'm up before the girls, so I head outside at 7am to a dead quiet beach to read my book. We all have our free breakfast (which is awful), and me and Nat head out for another snorkel, this time further out and by the rocks on one side of the bay, where we see so many fish of all colours and sizes, as well as squid, sea urchins and even a blowfish! We get out of the sun for the heat of the day by booking ...

12pm, still drunk and aching from the party and my head swirls as I hear the girls chatting on the porch. We reminisce about last night then slowly get ready for a relaxed beach day. Hangover breakfast is pivotal for survival, so I opt for a king size baguette for myself and Nat had a hearty lasagne. Feeling well and truly beaten up and burnt, I play up to the day walker stereotype and stay out of ...
