Deidre enjoyed chatting with them, they were staying a short walk up the beach from us a PHI PHI Natural Resort. ... to the resort to catch the bus for the James Island Tour. From my resort there was a couple from France that was also going on the tour. We picked up another four 23 yr old guys from another hotel and I began to think that the day was looking up afterwards. ... at a place called Niku Guesthouse. Around 17:30, we caught a share taxi back to Phuket town to avoid paying the extortionate rates charged by the tuk-tuk drivers after the bus stopped running. Since our Thailand visa expired in a few days, we were considering making another short trip to Myanmar so that we could stay in Thailand as long as we had originally planned, but were leaning towards heading to Cambodia earlier than planned. ... sun burn. We showered and changed and went back to Waanda Massage. They have an aloe vera massage! We went out again (don't know whats good for us do we) to check out the scene. Awesome cover bands everywhere. We found a cool Irish pub to nestle into with great pub food. Fish and chips were yummy! Having too much fun.

Sunday April 13, Songkran (Thai New Year day), year 2551 (Buddhist) It is the big new year's holiday time here. It's 5 days of vacation all over the country. The main celebration is spraying water on each other.
