To hear the name of Siberia is freezing but to be there was lovely. The people are nice and friendly, the city is strong and well constructed, sorrounded by the Miass River and circled by woods both inside and outside town.
The cathedral is the most wonderful gothic you can picture on a first rainy, then windy and finally snowy evening.
Don't miss it, it's 2.5 hrs. south of Moscow.

... heading to Kazakhstan tomorrow) later in the evening for dinner...at an Irish Pub with the menus in English! A great night, swapping tales and hints. Keep safe, guys.
We stayed at Hotel Meridian, a lovely hotel with unlimited WiFi (such a bonus). Olga, the hotel receptionist, who speaks amazing English, made us feel so welcome. Thanks, Olga, we can thoroughly recommend your hotel.
