Alameda Campinas 150 Sao Paulo, State of Sao Paulo, Brazil, 11-3145-8000

Finally I arrived at São Paulo Guarulhos airport after a tiring flight in a slightly uncomfortable plane without a lot of sleeping. After getting my luggage and going through customs I took a cab to Hotel Royal Maksoud in São Paulo behind Avenida Paulista. Since I was tired I decided only to go out to get some money and not do much as the next day I was to have my first meetings. I went to the bank machine and to my surprise the bankcard from work wasnt working and I didnt have enough for the...

I wasn´t sure whether or not to come here, I had a vision of it being a dirty rotten city, and very unsafe. However, I am very glad I visited, it seems I had some misconceptions.
There isn´t bundles to see as far as sightseeing goes, but there is still good stuff to see.
Only stayed here 2 nights so did~´t have much time.
I stayed in the Jardim area (near Av Paulista) on the recommendation of our travel guide ...
... C, to catch a bus to the airport. Needless to say we were hot and tired but, we made our flight in good time, and upon landing in Sao Paulo at 9pm, we decided to try and make the 11.30pm overnight bus to Campo Grande (a city of the Pantanal region, to do some MORE wildlife spotting!), mainly because we had no real desire to see much of Sao Paulo. We luckily caught a connecting transfer bus to the coach station pretty much immediately after collecting our bags, and made it in time to ...
Sao Paulo, State of Sao Paulo, Brazil djanderson-Don’t worry, it will be explained, so don’t rush to click out so fast.
Who is to say what success is of importance and is not? Is someone really better than another, given any variables, if weighed out on a scale, before the most objective of all men? Why doesn’t the garbage man belong on the cover of US news, while the stock broker piles the same magazine in some bathroom cabinet? Anthony and I discussed personal purpose and reach ...
... a really nice room here as they missed up our booking! Good times! Whist here wee saw some really good stuff... we watched a tango show one night, went to La Boca which is a really rough but very art ***** part of town but came out alive! We saw Evitas tomb and an awful lot of other dead people tombs... that part i didnt like so much, and we took a bus ride by accident round the whole bloddy city one day and got so lost we had to take a cab back!!! good times all round! Sao Paulo, State of Sao Paulo, Brazil josiegrosie... really expensive too so we preferred to be window shoppers instead. Next stop was a supermarket called Sango. R had insisted that we visit a local supermarket which would give us a flavour of how the locals live their life in the city. S/M took us to Sango, which was absolutely massive and would put Sainsburys to shame. The variety was also excellent in every department especially fruits and veg. M bought us a glass of sugar cane juice and R spotted ...
Sao Paulo, State of Sao Paulo, Brazil omkar... the reputation of the city. later that evening we experienced the Sao Paulo night life, which i must admit was pretty good. however i do have one problem, on entry to the club, your given a swipe card. You then use this card to buy your drinks, which they then credit the card with, to then settle the bill when you leave, by handing the card back. Now, i made a point of only buy 1 beer in this club, as i didnt have a clue ...
Sao Paulo, State of Sao Paulo, Brazil presto... I start classes Monday, so don~t fear, the list will grow. I think i will actually get better at Spanish here, because people understand it pretty well - much better than English. 3) Apparently "Erin" and "Evan" are gender neutral names here, or just dont exist, so I am rooming with a guy for the 3 day orientation at a really nice hotel. It~s pretty funny, and since he has been here before, we watch TV together and he interprets for me. There are a lot of variety ...
